About Tyler

Tyler Buck is passionate about providing practical and modern legal services to his clients. He left the law firm of Byron & Edwards in order to pursue his own practice focusing on the needs of startups and growing businesses. His primary practice areas include business formation and structuring, corporate law, preparing and reviewing contracts, debt collection, affordable litigation services, and debt solutions such as workouts and bankruptcy.

Prior to starting his own practice, Tyler was a litigator. He defended architects and engineers in complex civil litigation and prepared substantive motions such as summary adjudication and judgment on complex legal issues such as indemnity, assumption of the risk, standing, privity, and existence of legal duties. He also drafted and negotiated construction contracts and served as general counsel for a mid-sized corporation handling wage & hour claims, legal compliance, and advising the board of directors on complex legal issues.

Tyler graduated from the University of Massachusetts at Dartmouth double majoring in Political Science and History. While attending UMass Dartmouth, Tyler competed as a three-sport athlete in Cross- Country, Indoor Track & Field, and Outdoor Track & Field.

Tyler received a Juris Doctorate from the University of Massachusetts at Dartmouth School of Law and graduated cum laude. An avid surfer, Tyler also enjoys hiking, backpacking, spear-fishing, target shooting, off-roading in his Subaru Outback, and drinking craft beer.
